It looks like another star is coming back to Bond 25. When production announced that Léa Seydoux would resume his role of Spectrum people wondered if that meant that Christoph Waltz would come back as Blofeld in the new movie too. That seemed to be the case for some time, but now that production has started, The Guardian [confirmed by Deadline] reports that Waltz was spotted on the set of the new film.
The decision to make this film a more direct sequel to Spectrum It is interesting to note that the film did not make a good critical appearance but ended up being a success at the box office, even though it underperformed at the national level. Bond's films are usually unique stories with very limited continuity, but Spectrum changed that. It will be interesting to see how this film is received after such a difficult production. Last month, we had a first glimpse of the new film behind the scenes.
Summary: Bond has left active service. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter of the CIA arrives to ask for help, resulting in Bond on the trail of a nasty villain armed with dangerous new technologies.
