Archbishop Philip Naameh, president of the Ghana Conference of Catholic Bishops, urged parents to be vigilant at all times to protect their children, following the increased number of kidnappings in the country.

Naameh, who is also the Metropolitan Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Tamale, believes that parents have a responsibility to guide and protect their children and that they therefore need to take a close interest in their movements and their activities.

He further urged parents to monitor and limit the use of social media by their children as they may expose them to danger.

"Do not delegate your role of supervising your children to others and badume they will be protected.

Conference

Most Reverend Naameh spoke at the closing of the 2019 Marshall Moreau Murat Biennial Commemorative Conferences in Accra last Friday.

The two-day conferences, organized by the Knights and Dames of Marshall, a Catholic Church Society, were part of the group's 50th anniversary activities.

The theme of the event was "To respond lovingly to Amoris Laetitia in the family – the Marshallans".

Education
