Mr. Olakunle Churchill, the husband of actress Tonto Dikeh, spoke to Nigeria's Police Inspector General (IGP), Mohammad Adamu, against the controversial actress.

Churchill has accused his ex-wife of falsifying documents and illegally selling his Toyota Prado 4×4 vehicle worth 22 million nairas.

He forwarded the letter through his lawyer, Ace Solicitors, to the IGP office and handed the copy of the acknowledgment of receipt, dated April 4, available on social networks, reports NAN.

The petitioner claimed to have acquired the vehicle through his organization, Big Church Group.

He claimed that after their divorce, he had left the white Prado sport utility vehicle at Tonto Dikeh. She then forged the property documents of the car and finally sold it.

The petition read in part as follows: "The car was purchased for domestic use by the family, especially considering that Mrs. Tonto Dikeh-Churchill (as she was at the time) had just gone to bed .

"The car was purchased on behalf of our client's company as a result of our customer's partnership with Toyota at the material time.

"When the marriage collapsed irretrievably, Miss Tonto Dikeh took away the vehicle and sold it to one or more unknown persons.

"This is without the consent of our client or company, and without proper paperwork and change of ownership.

"Sir, this claim has become imperative not for the purpose of recovering such vehicle from Tonto Dikeh or third parties, but for the purposes of registration and documentation.

"It is a matter of relieving our client and Big Church Group Limited of any liability in the event of use of that vehicle for illegal purposes, as our customer does not know who the vehicle was sold for."

In a quick reaction, however, the actress said on her GI page: "The truth is unfolding little by little and we all come out of it. Please, keep on pulling your leg, I'm here for that.

The controversial actress is married in 2015 to Olakunle Churchill, a Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, and they have a son from the union.

However, the separation crisis began when it was reported that a certain woman had entered the scene, Tonto Dikeh having removed her husband's last name from her Instagram account.

After their divorce, they were at war of words on social media, Churchill demanding exclusive access to his son, who was nevertheless in the custody of the actress.
