Claire Foy faced the cold of London with a strapless green dress for the BAFTA, but she was more concerned about not wanting to go hungry.
The star of the crown struggled to focus when she spoke with guests Edith Bowman and Dermot O 'Leary (red carpet) in anticipation of the ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall.
Even before the presenters could have a word about her nomination for the lead role in First Man, she suddenly exclaimed that she had a small hollow.
Worried about letting it go on for the next two hours, Dermot was eager to catch it and grabbed some candy.
On the red carpet, Live, Claire laughed and said to Dermot and Edith: "It's cold and it's dinner time, I have not eaten and I'm confused! I do not know if I'm going or going. "
Edith sent Dermot back for snacks for a hungry Claire and he did not come back empty handed with some wine gums.
Claire had asked if there was a chance that she would get sausages, mashed potatoes and gravy, but Edith told her sadly that she did not have any.
When Dermot returned, she exclaimed, "Oh my god, that's a chewing gum in wine!"
The Crown star then tasted the treats while Edith talked about Queen's guitarist Brian May, who was following her everywhere to promote her First Man movie.
But Claire was too in love with sweet snacks and continued to chew on them, struggling to answer their questions.
She then asked for forgiveness: "I have a chewing gum in my mouth!"
While the presenters were saying goodbye to Claire, Edith was joking: sausages and mashed potatoes would be waiting for her inside.
"Conceived!" She replied, laughing.
Claire was against Amy Adams for her role in Vice, Emma Stone for The Favorite, Margot Robbie for Mary Queen of Scots and Rachel Weisz for The Favorite, Rachel winning the award.
