CLARK COUNTY, WA (KPTV) – Clark County Health officials announced Monday confirmation of 22 cases of measles, as well as three other suspected cases.
Figures from Clark County continued to increase during the outbreak, and Clark County, Public Health, provided continuous updates.
Only one case concerns an adult, the other 21 are all children.
Confirmed cases involve 19 unimmunized patients. Three cases have unverified immunization status.
On Monday, health officials added three more places where people may have been exposed to measles:
• Memorial Urgent Care, 3400 Main Street, Vancouver from 4:30 pm to 7:50 pm on Saturday, January 19th.
• Orchards Elementary School, 11405 NE 69th Street, Vancouver, Monday, January 14th.
• Dollar Tree, 11501 NE 76th St., Vancouver from 8:10 pm to 10:50 pm Tuesday, January 15th.
Previous possible exposure sites included health care facilities, schools, stores, and the Center for a Moda Blazers game on January 11th.

Starting Tuesday, people identified as being at risk for measles will receive an automated call from Clark County Public Health. Anyone likely to have been exposed will not receive the call.
The automated call will come from the county call center – 360-397-8021 – at 10:30 am. People who are not joined at 10:30 am will receive a second call at 1 pm. It will be asked to those who receive the calls if they have symptoms of measles. Automated calls will allow Clark County Public Health to more effectively collect information about symptoms and identify new cases more quickly.
Anyone who has been exposed and who thinks they have measles symptoms is asked to call their health care provider before going to the medical office to avoid exposing others.
