Clyne also had a stint at Palace, having started her career at Selhurst Park as a teenager. He joined the palace academy at the age of seven, spent 13 years at the club and played more than 100 appearances in the first team, mainly in the championship.

He could now be ready to return to Selhurst Park and replace Wan-Bissaka, while the palace was trying to avoid the relegation of Premier League for another season.
