Cobra Kai Season 3 arrives on Netflix on January 1, 2021 and a few weeks later, filming would apparently begin season 4 from January 20.

As we learned previously, Season 4 was still scheduled to begin production in early 2021, although the exact dates were not determined at the time of this article’s publication.

According to ProductionWeekly issue 1226, we now have firm dates for the start of filming on the series. It lists that Cobra Kai season 4 is currently is scheduled to begin filming on January 20, 2021 and end on April 15, 2021.

Filming will take place again (as in the previous three seasons) in Atlanta, Georgia.

In October 2020, Hurwitz said COVID-19, while having an impact on the shoot itself, would not be made into the story, adding that the show would be filmed under strict COVID protocols.

It’s no surprise that Season 4 is starting to shoot so quickly, just a few months ago the writers confirmed they were already describing some of the season’s final episodes, and on October 24, 2020, it was announced that this is the official last day in the Writer’s Room for Season 4.

We’ll get a full Season 4 preview soon (probably tomorrow) by going over everything we know about Season 4 so far. We already know a few more details, including the fact that Leo Birenberg and Zach Robinson are once again ready to come back to score.

Once Season 3 hits Netflix, be sure to check out the cast that will appear in the first episode of The Netflix afterparty which falls on January 2.

Look forward to season 4 of Cobra Kai? Let us know in the comments.
