Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Limited has organized a "Teacher Transformation Program" for teachers in the Tema West constituency to build their capacity.
The three-day program was held at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Sakumono and reached more than 300 teachers in 21 public schools in the district.
In partnership with LeadAfrique International, a non-governmental organization, Tema West MP, Kingsley Carlos Ahenkorah, and Tema GES management, Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Limited, as part of the Teacher Transformation Program, aimed to: enhance the personal effectiveness of Tema West teachers by providing them with vital life skills, such as leadership and financial management, that are relevant to their role as mentors, said a statement released by the business.

"A teacher is a big influencer in the life of a student. a glimmer of hope and inspiration that the student admires for his guidance, direction and academic excellence. But unfortunately, little attention is given to developing the mentality, behavior and attitude of the teacher. The Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Ghana Limited, having identified this need, offers its help to enhance the overall development of the teacher, "said Bethel Yeboah, the company's public affairs and communications officer.
Over the years, the Coca-Cola system has made significant progress in promoting sustainable development, particularly in the education sector, aligning its interests with those of the communities in which it operates. This has been demonstrated by initiatives such as:
- Discovery Channel Global Education Program in 20 schools in Greater Accra and Kumasi, benefiting more than 500 teachers and 18,000 students.
- Infrastructure for schools in Guunayili, northern region.
- Built a block of 6 clbadrooms with toilets, water reserve and a meeting room for teachers in Abuti-Teti, in the Volta region.
- Construction of a multipurpose room for the Delany Academy in Sunyani, in the Brong Ahafo area.
- Other clbad buildings and renovations were also held in Aburi and Samsa Odumasi.
The Ghanaian company Coca-Cola Bottling Company said that the enhancement of the teacher's skills fits directly into his broader mission of supporting efforts to create an industry sector. sustainable education in the country, and is committed to creating more value for its consumers, customers and the communities it serves across the country.
