In a recent annual ranking published by LinkedIn, Coinbase is now on the list of the 50 best companies to work in the United States. Coinbase is the only cryptocurrency and block chain company on the list.
The exclusive list is prepared after badysis four main pillars. The pillars are:
- Interest in the company – measured by new unique and non-employee follow-ups on the company's LinkedIn page;
- Engagement with company employees – examines the number of non-employees who consult unique employees in the company;
- Application for employment – count the rate at which people consult and apply for jobs in the company, including paid and unpaid job offers on LinkedIn;
- Retention of employees – measures the number of employees still in the business at least one year after their date of hiring, based on profiles of LinkedIn members.
To be eligible, companies must have at least 500 employees by February 1, 2019 and stable or positive employment growth over 12 months (from February 1, 2018 to January 31, 2019).
Coinbase ranks 35th on the list, including large companies such as Twitter, Intel, GE, JP Morgan Chase & Co., etc. Coinbase is also one of only two in the list with fewer than 1,000 employees.
Founded in June 2012, Coinbase is a digital currency platform where merchants and consumers can trade with new digital currencies. Headquartered in San Francisco, Coinbase serves 32 countries and generates a business turnover of about $ 1 billion.
