Former teammate Ashley Cole believes that Mohamed Salah has become "much more ruthless" since arriving in Chelsea.
The Egyptian played only 13 Premier League matches with Chelsea before making his Serie A debut with Fiorentina and Roma's free-kick.
On his return to the Premier League with Liverpool, Salah took his game to a new level with 66 goals in 96 games for the Merseyside club after his transfer to Anfield in 2017.
"To be honest, no" Cole says on Sky sports when asked where he could have predicted Salah"Improvement.
"During his training, I saw his abilities, but he seems to have become more ruthless.
"I do not mean selfish, but he wants to score goals. This is his job. He needs to score goals.
"[Salah]Firmino and Mane play well together, but I think it has become a bit more "it's about me now, it's my time".
"He's tired of the other players, being in their shadow, and he wants to be the main player."
