Commuters followed in the London Underground via Wi-Fi | ITV News

A new mobile phone tracking system is starting up today in the London Underground, allowing Transport for London to track the way people use the network.

The system uses Wi-Fi connections from the pbadenger phone to determine the routes used by the stations.

Transport for London says that the information they use will be anonymous and will simply allow them to better plan their services.
