This week, the printed images and the latest hardware settings of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ smartphones came online. It will be the flagship product of the Korean brand this fall, which will take a step closer to the spring equipment of the Galaxy S10 series. What improvements has Samsung made in just six months? Our article will answer that. We chose the most powerful S10 + model for comparison.
Galaxy Note 10 Galaxy S10: design
The Korean giant is trying to get the biggest screen possible at the front of the phone with each new generation of flagship smartphones. The Galaxy Note 10 series goes even further in the body / screen ratio. This is especially noticeable on the Galaxy S10 + and the note 10, which have almost the same size of display, but the note 10 will be half a centimeter lower by reducing the upper and lower frames.
The opening of the camera moves with the Galaxy Note 10 range from the upper right corner to the center, both solutions constituting a single lens. The rear design will also change, and the main camera will move from the center to the oval photo module in the upper left corner. The shape of the Galaxy Note 10 smartphones will be more angular than that of the Galaxy S10 and will remove the separate button from the Bixby wizard; it is triggered again by a long press on the lock button.
Display: Dynamic AMOLED
Like the AMOLED dynamic displays of the Galaxy S10 Infinity, the Galaxy Note 10 series only expands their diagonals and their slot positions for selfie. The biggest tradeoff will be with the smaller Galaxy Note 10, which will only display Full HD + resolution, though all of its predecessors can display more pixels (Quad HD +).
On the other hand, all the flagship resolutions of the Samsung Quad HD + also had a reduction in Full HD + resolution, and only a small percentage of users have restored the resolution to Quad HD + in order to save the battery .

Galaxy Note 10 Galaxy S10: camera and video
The cameras will change aesthetically for Samsung's innovations. The Selfie camera retains a resolution of 10 MP, but the aperture of the lens goes from f / 1.9 to f / 2.2. However, Samsung will offer support for HDR10 +, the use of a screen like flash and the ability to record a 4K video at 30 fps.
The resolution of the main camera remains the same as that of the Galaxy S10 – 12 Mpx with a conventional lens, 12 MP with a telephoto lens and 16 MP with a wide-angle lens. The basic sensor optics, however, learn to switch between three aperture values - f / 1.5, f / 1.8 and f / 2.4, and the zoom camera aperture will improve by f / 2 , 4 to f / 2.1. The opening of the wide angle camera remains f / 2.2. The Galaxy Note 10+ then receives a special ToF camera, tested by Samsung on the Galaxy S10 5G.
Performance and memory: still the best
While the Galaxy S10 smartphones are equipped with Exynos 9820 chipsets, Note 10 will offer the new Exynos 9825. The features of the newer model are not yet known and we will probably only see higher bars. The news will also improve the storage capacity, the user has roughly 256 GB. However, the memory card slot is only part of the larger Galaxy Note 10+.
Ports and pen with pen
Of course, the main difference between the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 lies in the presence of the S Pen, which will learn new things with the new generation, such as the ability to control the phone with gestures without contact. The most controversial "novelty" will certainly be the lack of a headphone jack; you will need to use a wireless headset or USB-C to listen to music.
Battery and charge
The USB-C port will also be the main way of charging. This will accelerate considerably on the Galaxy Note 10, with a maximum of 25 watts on the base model and 45 watts on the Note 10+. The second option will be wireless charging with an output of 12/20 watts. The batteries will have a capacity of 3500 and 4300 mAh for the Galaxy Note 10, and 3400 and 4100 mAh for the Galaxy S10 and S10 +.
Color combinations
As Galaxy Note 10 smartphones are more in the hands of managers, Samsung will not engage in any fanciful color combination like the Galaxy S10. Galaxy Note 10 and Note + will be available in black preservative, then in white / purple / blue / green gradient with a blue pen.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10: price and availability
Galaxy Note 10 smartphones will be unveiled August 7 in New York, and would be on sale August 23. The expected price is 999 EUR (around 25,500 crowns) for a smaller model and 1,149 EUR for larger models (around 29,500 crowns). For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy S10 128GB version is sold in our official distribution at a price of 23,499 CZK, Galaxy S10 + with the same capacity of 25,999 CZK, including VAT.
