VANCOUVER, Washington – Health officials in Clark County have now confirmed 42 cases of measles and the last confirmed case is for a child who has received a dose of measles, mumps and rubella vaccine. They are also investigating seven other suspected cases as the epidemic continues to develop.
Those who are infected have visited several public places while being contagious.

Officials say they have not identified any new exhibition sites since Thursday.
According to the authorities, 31 cases of measles are in children under 10 years of age, 10 in 11 to 18 years, and one in over 19 years.
According to officials, 37 of them were not vaccinated, one case concerns a person vaccinated and four cases were not verified.
The symptoms of measles begin with a mild fever, a cough, a runny nose and red eyes, followed by a rash.

"Measles can be so contagious that you can stay in a room and if you are sensitive to it, two hours after the person with measles has left, and you still have the disease," said Dr. Alan Melnick, Director of Public Health, Clark County. .
