In response, Kwame Zu, CND regional secretary in Ashanti, emphasized that the secretariat had no records that people had chosen forms other than Muntaka's after the deadline.

However, Masawudu's camp responded by saying that they had concrete evidence that their candidate had chosen and paid the form on Thursday and that no intrigue on the part of the leaders would change things.
