The Molineux Man has been playing for the Wolves since he became a central role in Nuno Espirito Santo's three-man defense last season.

Gareth Southgate has always neglected this 26-year-old, who recently preferred a system using two traditional half-centers to defend himself.

Southgate selected Michael Keane of Everton and Burnley James Tarkowski, as well as regulars John Stones and Harry Maguire for his last team, while Brighton's Lewis Dunk was one of the previous two teams. Stones is now hurt.

Coady told TalkSport: "I thought all season I was trying to be part of a team that has just reached a semi-final World Cup.

"It's a very good team. England is the pinnacle of the career of any Englishman. "

He added, "If that happens, it will be great, but I do not think so much because it will become a small problem."

Coady insisted that Manchester United's FA Cup quarter-final win on Saturday night was the highlight of an already outstanding Premier League season.

"It's the best," he added. "In Cup, anything can happen.

"Manchester United is an amazing football club with fantastic players and a great manager.

"It was a special night for everyone, the building atmosphere in recent weeks was brilliant and we felt it all week.

"We could not wait to start and the evening was perfect."
