Where is the tournament?
The hosts are Brazil.
The matches will be held in Salvador, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte and Porto Alegre. The opening match will be held at the Estádio do Morumbi in São Paulo. The semi-finals will take place at the Arena do Grêmio in Porto. Alegre and Estádio Mineirão in Belo Horizonte.
The final will take place on July 7th at the Estádio do Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro.

Which countries are competing?
There are 12 countries in competition. They are in three groups of four …
Group A: Brazil, Bolivia, Venezuela, Peru
Group B: Argentina, Colombia, Paraguay, Qatar
Group C: Uruguay, Ecuador, Japan, Chile
How many players from the city have been selected?
The city will be well represented at the Copa America 2019 with five players.
Brazilian coach Tite called Ederson, Fernandinho and Gabriel Jesus.
The Argentine coach Lionel Scaloni has selected Sergio Aguero and Nicolas Otamendi.

When do our players play?
Group play dates are as follows:
June 14: Brazil v Bolivia
June 15: Argentina v Colombia
June 18: Brazil v Venezuela
June 19: Argentina v Paraguay
June 22: Brazil v Peru
June 23: Argentina / Qatar
Brazil is four hours behind the United Kingdom.

How is it that Qatar and Japan are competing?
Japan and Qatar compete by invitation.
It will be Qatar's first Copa America, while Japan has already participated once in 1999.
The usual competitors of CONCACAF, Mexico and the United States, will not participate this time.
