More than 230 Coronation Street Rana Habeeb's controversial death.

In Ofcom's latest report, the broadcasting regulator confirmed that a total of 236 complaints were made about the climax of March 20's Underworld roof collapse episodes, which saw Bhavna Limbachia's character Rana, a Muslim bad, killed on her wedding day.

The complainants said that Coronation Street was propagating the harmful idea that LGBTQ + relationships do not have happy endings.

The moment had been strongly criticized on social media the night of the day.

Ofcom said that it has been badessed and will not be investigating further.

"We consider this storyline negatively portrayed gay relationships," spokesperson told Digital Spy. "In our view, the untimely death of the character was typical of this dramatic plotlines and would not have exceeded most viewers' expectations."

After the death air, Limbachia said that it was her decision for Rana to die and also responded to the backlash This Morning.

Although Carla Connor (Alison King) thinks she's at fault, the Underworld is actually no accident, and the roof was sabotaged by a mystery person.
