Professor Joseph Osafo urged Ghanaians not to lead reckless lives.

Speaking about the COVID-19 pandemic, Professor Osafo advised citizens not to think COVID-19 is not real or to let the good health of some people fool them into believing that the disease does not exist.

Commenting on Peace FM’s ‘Kokrokoo’ program on Monday morning, Prof Osafo noted that Ghanaians are becoming optimistic and self-confident that they will not contract the disease, refusing to adhere to the protocols.

He called the attitude of some Ghanaians reckless.

He warned citizens not to compare themselves to others, but to religiously stick to protocols in order to save themselves and their loved ones.

“Value your life. Value your loved ones. Know that what we are going through is not permanent. Do not compare and avoid the optimistic bias… Don’t be reckless; just don’t be reckless!” he said on the show.
