Costco employees reveal how much money they earn

From cashiers to cake decorators to forklift operators to pharmacy technicians, Costco's employees have earned decent wages for years.

Costco, a member-owned and "cult" wholesale supermarket, employs more than 245,000 people and is renowned for providing member benefits and benefits to its employees.

Business Insider's previous reports show that Costco has consistently increased its exit rate, which is well above the national minimum wage of $ 7.25. To get a better idea of ​​the compensation of each type of employee in a Costco store, we reviewed self-reported wages for many roles at PayScale and Glbaddoor and we ranked the lowest hourly pay positions at higher. For some jobs, we found data only from one of two sources.

Since the last increase was implemented very recently, the salary averages for some of the positions we found may not correspond to the new minimum because the self-reported data we examined covers the last few years.

While most hourly positions are aligned with the start-up rates of recent years, some executive positions, as well as specialized positions such as pharmacy technicians, allow for higher salaries (over $ 25 / hour) .
