  • Signs.com recently conducted a survey to find out which stores offer brands that buyers consider to be both reasonably priced and well made.
  • Costco ended up triumphing over rivals, with Trader Joe's and Kroger taking second and third place respectively.

Generic brands offer buyers the opportunity to save money without compromising quality.

But which grocery chains carry the most reliable brands?

Online communications company Signs.com surveyed 514 buyers to find out. Participants were asked to rate the price and quality of one-in-five generic brands, with five representing brands of the highest quality.

The survey did not take into account wholesale prices.
