The High Court rejected a request to prohibit the Ghana School of Law from organizing this year's entrance exams.
The editor of the Daily Search Light newspaper, Ken Kuranchie, went to court to try to prevent the law school from conducting the examination.
Last month, the General Legal Council issued an announcement calling for prospective students to apply to Ghana's Faculty of Law and specifying various requirements for candidates.
In his application, Mr. Kurnachie questioned the legality of the Independent Review Committee of Ghana's Faculty of Law in Exam Management.
The High Court, however, rejected his request today [Wednesday] but Mr Kuranchie says that he will study the decision to inform his next step.
"I asked the judge if I could get a copy of the judgment. He said that he had asked for a copy to the registry almost immediately, so we will do it. We will study the judgment because I am convinced that the judgment rendered may not be representative of all the facts.
"If, after studying the judgment, we come to the conclusion, we will appeal. By the way, what happened at the court had the effect that the law school entrance will take place. "
Similarly, the Supreme Court dismissed an application for an injunction to prevent the General Legal Council from organizing entrance examinations that were to take place on Friday, July 27, 2018.
