The NDC board, Samuel Cudjoe, informed the court on Thursday that the two parties had reached an agreement on the terms of the settlement on 14 January 2019, "before filing it today in court.

The plaintiffs' lawyer, Mr. Christopher King, argued that his clients had indeed accepted the terms of the settlement and were willing to dismiss the case.

An order enjoining the CND to conduct its 2019 presidential election in a free, fair, transparent and inclusive manner in accordance with the CND constitution and the canonical principles of free and fair elections is also sought.
