American actor Courteney Cox, best known for playing Monica Geller on the hit sitcom Friends, recently took his fans into the past with his rendition of the show’s popular theme song.
In the video, the actress was seen performing “I’ll be there for you” by The Rembrandts at the piano, leaving internet users nostalgic. “How did I do it?” The 56-year-old wrote, while sharing the video on Instagram.
The video featured the actress performing a quick take on the song while singer-songwriter Joel Taylor accompanied her on guitar.

Cox’s video precedes the next ‘Friends’ reunion, which is due to air on HBO Max. The reunion was confirmed in February 2020 when the cast members simultaneously posted the same flashback image with the caption “It’s Happening” on their Instagram pages.
Besides Cox, the popular sitcom starred Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer. Friends aired for 10 seasons on NBC between 1994-2004.
