The star of Barcelona, Philippe Coutinho, dismissed the speculation linking him to a return to the Premier League.

Coutinho previously spent five years in Liverpool, becoming one of the best players in the Premier League before joining the Spanish giants for a contract worth 142 million pounds in 2018.

The 26-year-old has had a mixed season in Spain, making just 19 Liga matches for Ernesto Valverde's side this season, and has been badociated with transfers to Manchester United and Chelsea.

The Brazilian international has since rejected all speculation linking him to a return to England, saying his intention was to stay in Nou camp.

"My head is exclusively in Barcelona. Returning to England now does not fit my plans, "said Coutinho at Sunday mirror.

"It's my second season here. I've won titles but I'm still an ambitious and demanding player. So, I want more and more.

"But I'm happy, I wanted to play in Spain and I'm in the best club in Spain."
