The Assistance Committee Beyond Ghana asks the designer for answers to the failed cover page of the charter.

This follows the illicit splashing of Kenya's skyline as the cover page of the Aid Charter beyond Ghana.

The committee, in a statement signed by its secretary, Dr. Eric Yeboah, said that the ordered photo appearing on the cover page of the "Ghana Beyond Ghana Strategy Paper" published by the President was a "mistake"

"The Committee apologizes without reservation to the President and the nation for this error and badumes full responsibility," the statement said.

The document prepared by a committee led by the Prime Minister presented high-rise buildings on a green landscape. One of the image buildings, however, is the headquarters of Dawit Insurance in Nairobi.

The development sparked public outrage. Kumbungu MP Ras Mubarak described the blunder as embarrbading for the nation.

In a letter to the designer, Richard Bansah accused him of unprofessionalism and apologized to the president for the embarrbadment caused to Ghana.

"You have been commissioned to produce an original work of art that reflects the vision of Ghana Beyond Aid and the highlights of the charter and the strategy paper. This illustration was used as the cover page of the document. You had to produce an original work of art. However, you used a photo of the Dawit Insurance building in Nairobi, Kenya, and you presented it to the committee as if it was about your original artwork. This singular work of indiscretion and lack of professionalism has embarrbaded the president, the aid committee beyond Ghana and its president.

"So you have to provide an explanation and a formal apology to the Aid Committee beyond Ghana. It is an urgent matter and you must treat it as such. The letter read.
