Seven other people died from the new coronavirus on February 1, 2021.
This is according to the latest figures from the Ghana Health Service (GHS) on the pandemic.
The GHS also revealed that 696 new infections brought the number of active cases to 6,086.
Of this total, 35 patients are in critical condition while 98 are critically ill.
So far, 69,255 Covid-19 cases have been recorded in Ghana with 62,729 recoveries / released.
