Lucy Livwaa Anin, a leading member of the Convention's People's Party (CPP), on Friday congratulated the government, led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for keeping Osagyefo, Dr Kwame Nkrumah, from using to boost export and development.

Ms. Anin, a former member of Bechem's parliament, said that Dr. Nkrumah's government introduced the planting of sugar palms and rubber on state farms through the Workers' Brigade, which provided a job for many young people of the time.
In an interview with the Ghanaian news agency after fraternizing with editorial staff, she said: "If the previous presidents had kept the vision of the country's first president, job creation would have been dazzling and unemployment nonexistent ".
She added that, under Dr Nkrumah's administration, the country was embarking on mbadive palm plantations on state farms, which allowed Ghana to have the privilege of teaching Malaysia technical skills. of planting palm trees and giving this country seedlings start to grow.
Ms. Anin said the project had been abandoned by successive governments and that it would be a great relief for Osagyefo's soul, Dr. Nkrumah, who will live by his vision and accumulate currency for the country.
"Nkrumah never dies because her vision for Ghana, Africa and the world will continue to live," she said.
The government is seeking to use the PERD program to promote the development of some export tree crops, including cashew, coffee, oil palm, coconut, mango and rubber.
Ms. Anin is the only surviving and youngest member of the top 10 women MPs under the CPP administration.
She entered the Parliament at age 22 and represented the Brong Ahafo region.
