2019: two live interviews
The vice president survived a helicopter crash in Kabba, Kogi.
Osinbajo spoke at a Thanksgiving Mbad at the Church of the Redeemed Christian God (RCCG), City of Grace, Lokoja.
"Only God can take the glory of saving my life and that of the nine crew members on board."
He stated that the fact that Vice President Osinbajo and nine crew members died in a helicopter crash would have been last-minute information about local and international media, but God did not tell him about it. did not let it go.
"No amount of thanks and praise to God would be enough to save my life and nine crew members on board.
"God is the one who can do everything, and he alone can take the glory; we give him glory.
"We are here to say thank you, thank you Jesus. We bless his name forever and forever, "he said.
He prayed to God to bless all the people who celebrated with him in the state, the nation and the world in general.
"All I have to say is that we are grateful and move on to the next level. the Lord will support us at the next level and Kogi will be number one, "said Osinbanjo.
Previously, during a live broadcast of the RCCG headquarters in Lagos, the church's superintendent, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, had asked the congregation to stand up and give glory to God for saving the life of his son, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, of an accident.
According to Adeboye, the devil wanted to take the life of Yemi Osinbajo, but God has shamed the devil.
He therefore asked the congregation to especially appreciate God on behalf of the Vice President and all the crew on board for his supernatural protection, saying that Nigeria would not mourn.
In his sermon titled "Bearers of Glory," Adeboye said that for anyone to bear the glory, he must be a true child of God and lead a life of holiness.
Drawing his lesson from the Bible in the book of Matthew 5: 14-15, he says, "You are the light of the world. A city on a hill can not be hidden.
"As a bearer of glory, darkness will disappear automatically wherever you arrive.
"When God begins to use you, glory belongs to God and you. You must learn to always give glory to God.
"Do not take glory for yourself because it does not belong to you, it belongs to God," said Adeboye.
Among the dignitaries who attended the ceremony were: Matthew Kolawole, Speaker of the Kogi House of Assembly; Secretary of State Government, Dr. Ayoade Arike; Special Adviser to the Governor in charge of Security, comdr. Jerry Omodara; commissioners and Senator Smart Adeyemi. (NOPE)
