Cristiano Ronaldo says his work ethic is key to maintaining his success at the highest level.
The Portuguese superstar scored a hat trick to lead his country to the League of Nations final with a 3-1 victory over Switzerland last week.
Ronaldo, 34, remains one of the best players in the world after scoring 28 goals in all competitions in his first season with Juventus.
The five-time winner of the Golden Ball believes his dedication is the secret of his longevity at the highest level – and he thinks it will keep him for a long time.
"It's preparation – my work ethic," Ronaldo told UEFA.com.
"I still feel good despite my 34 years.
"The most important thing is your head, for you to feel motivated and happy, and to follow my path as a player because I think I still have a lot to give and I feel very good."
After a frustrating club season that saw Juventus knock out Ajax in the Champions League, Ronaldo is aiming for the League of Nations glory with Portugal.
They will face the Netherlands in Sunday's final – and he said that a win would give a special treble after already winning the Euro 2004 and Euro 2016 with his country.
He added: "As I said, when I wear the national team jersey, it's a huge honor for me and a different feeling than clubs.
"It's our country: my family is Portuguese, my friends too." I grew up in Portugal, so it's special to wear the national team jersey.
"And obviously, the opportunity to fight for trophies makes it even more special – as was the case at EURO 2004 and EURO 2016, and how this competition will be now.
"Three finals, as you said, and I hope to win two of three. This would be fantastic and I hope – just like the team.
"We are positive, we play at home, I hope that the stadium will be great, that there will be good energy, that this energy will be transmitted to us and that everyone can be confident, because we will try to do our best, together we can become champions. "
