Mr. Ambrose Dery, the Minister of the Interior, by the executive instrument, renews the curfew hours imposed on eight communities of the municipality of South Jaman, in the region of Bono.

Communities to know; Drobo, Japekrom, Bibianiha, Kwasiburkrom, Mpuasu, Basakrom, Kojokesekrom and Katakyiekrom are scheduled to observe a curfew from 30:00 to 18:00 on Thursday, 30 May.

In a statement issued and signed by the minister, with a copy to the Ghana News Agency, the government was continually grateful to the chiefs, elders, leaders of opinion, youth and local residents. for their efforts to bring peace to the region.

The Minister urged them to continue using established mechanisms for the resolution of all disputes and disputes.

He pointed out that there was also a total ban on carrying weapons, ammunition or offensive weapons in and around the above-mentioned communities.

The statement added that anyone found with weapons or ammunition will be arrested and prosecuted.
