"He became very arrogant after taking our money," said one unhappy customer who said he had invested $ 1 million, Joy News's Maxwell Agbagba said.

"We know that he is a man of God and we trusted him. Some of us have been in the church for a very long time and, as the senior pastor, we trusted him more. That's why we saved money with him, "said another dissatisfied customer.

Again, another man who said he had invested 500,000 ¢ with EL Real Estates on the recommendation of Mr. Kobiri said that he wanted to get his money back.

The two men told the reporter that during a service to the Zoe Outreach embbady, ​​the founder and the leader had introduced them to the service and that they had trusted him to invest their money. these entities.

But since last November, all attempts to access their funds have been futile.

At the time of writing, the injured clients had remained in the church premises after the service of the day had finished insisting on meeting Mr. Kobiri.

According to witnesses, disgruntled clients entered the church while worship was in progress, which caused a fight and threatened to disrupt the service.

One of the injured customers would have been slapped during the fight. Security has been enhanced to prevent further skirmishes.

Joy News's attempt to get an answer from church leaders has proved fruitless so far.
