Prague – Sevilla goalkeeper Tomas Vaclik was excluded from Czech team for their opening Euro 2020 qualifier clash England at Wembley on Friday because of a ripped muscle.

The doctors said the "goalkeeper would also pbad his friendly match against Brazil in Prague on March 26 and would probably be replaced by Stade Rennes goalkeeper Tomas Koubek.

"Tomas underwent magnetic resonance imaging and we found out that he had a torn oblique muscle," said Dr. Petr Krejci in a statement.

He added that Vaclik, 29, the Czech number one goalkeeper turned Czech footballer of the year 2018 on Monday, would miss two weeks.

Vaclik is belly-torn in the first leg of Sevilla's Europa League first leg against Slavia Prague two weeks ago, while he was trying to defeat the post after a dive to save a goal strange that offered Slavia a draw 2-2.

He was on the field when Sevilla lost 4-3 in overtime to Prague last Thursday to pull out of the competition, but missed the 1-0 win last weekend at Espanyol in the Liga.

Vaclik joined Sevilla from the Swiss club Basel last year.
