– The main event after the WWE TV recordings Tuesday at the Phoenix Talking Stick Resort Arena saw the female SmackDown champion, Asuka, retain her title on Charlotte Flair. Charlotte tapped at Asuka 's lock for the arrival. Asuka, who retained her Becky Lynch title at WWE Royal Rumble Sunday, did not appear at the blue channel this week.
– Matt Hardy has his eyes on WWE gold. Hardy visited Twitter during SmackDown Week and said he would closely monitor the WWE Champion and all other WWE title holders as he prepares for his return to the ring.
