Danny Batth revealed that Benik Afobe played a key role in persuading him that his future was in Stoke before his transfer to the Bet365 stadium for £ 3 million.
The 28-year-old central defender interrupted a loan period in Middlesbrough to join the Potters as part of a permanent contract with Premier League club, Wolves.

"I spoke briefly to the manager, but most of the discussions between a manager and a player are in the field.
"I'm looking forward to it, it will be the center for me, obviously the manager will give me directions on what he's looking for, but I'm really happy to be here."
