Darcey Bussell left Strictly because of "sick of soap opera scandals"

Darcey Bussell apparently left Strictly Come Dancing after seven years because of the "soap opera scandals" surrounding the series.

In addition to wellness entertainment and amazing dance, backstage novels are part of what keeps people hooked.

But according to new information, this is not the case of Judge Darcey who felt that the BBC broadcast had "become a sort of devious television soap opera".

However, a BBC source said that Darcey's decision was entirely to leave because it was possible for him to have professional commitments elsewhere.

Darcey revealed his decision to quit in a statement Wednesday afternoon, saying it was not a disagreement.
