Paradox Interactive and Haemimont Games have revealed the release of the "Green Planet" extension of "Surviving Mars".

• Green Mars: Players can cover the surface of Mars with various lichens, grbades, shrubs or trees and watch the red planet become greener. Easy-to-maintain plants can improve soil quality and allow the growth of more complex plants, while trees provide high seed yields for colony harvesting. Soil quality and plant health and growth should always be checked.
• Special projects: Players can participate in seven special and challenging projects, including melting polar maps, capturing ice asteroids, creating a space mirror, and more. But beware! All of these projects have a lasting impact on the planet that can trigger natural disasters.
• 7 new terraforming factories: Players can build seven new installations that help transform the planet and capitalize on change. GHG emissions can be released into the atmosphere through a GHG facility, the reforestation facility increases vegetation growth, the water pump creates a natural lake and much more again.
• Climate disasters: The terraforming of Mars can have unintended consequences. If too much greenhouse gas is released into the atmosphere, acid rain may result in a negative impact on soil quality. Or, if an asteroid hits the planet, a Marsquake potential can dramatically disrupt the colony's production.

The Laika project content pack includes

• Farm animals: Players can raise up to eight different animals. On the pastures of Mars are cows, chickens, pigs and more. Farm animals can be bred for slaughter in the new indome or on the outside of farms.
• Best friend of the Martians: The pet package includes 25 different pets, including ordinary animals such as a cat, a dog or a rabbit, as well as unusual candidates such as a llama, a penguin or a platypus. Once the planet is properly terraformed, pets go outside to explore nearby bushes and trees.
