David Beckham acquired a stake in Salford City FC by joining his clbad of 92 former teammates as co-owners of the club.
Beckham, 43, former skipper of Manchester United and England, bought 10% of the capital of the National League club.
That means Beckham, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Nicky Butt, Gary and Phil Neville now have a 60% stake in the club, with Singapore man Peter Lim holding a 40% majority.
