Nigerian superstar David Adeleke, aka Davido, announced Saturday that he and others had survived what could have caused an airplane crash.
He is currently in the United States and has posted the update of the John F. Kennedy International Airport.
"Shake for almost 14 hours. Thank God we arrived safely, "he said.
The news came the same day he became the first Nigerian artist with 10 million followers.
The 26-year-old artist had already set such a record of firsts.
He was the first Nigerian artist to reach 1 million, 2 million, 5 million and 9 million followers on Instagram.
His hit song 2017, "Fall," became the first Nigerian music video to be seen 100 million times on YouTube.
