Obama DMW, a close friend and road manager of Nigerian Afrobeats singer Davido, has passed away.
Obama DMW, whose real name is Habeeb Ademola Uthman, passed away on Tuesday July 29, 2021.
According to Pulse NG, Obama DMW went to Lekki Ever Care Hospital in Lagos to complain of difficulty breathing.
He was admitted to the hospital and sadly passed away a few hours later.

Born and raised in Lagos, Obama DMW received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Lagos State University before coming to Canada.
On his return, he co-founded a label with his friend, Holla At Your Boy. The label however fell back after the death of his companion.

He then founded another record company, Obama Music Worldwide (OMW).
In 2020, he signed the future singer, Ayanfe, on his label. Ayanfe found little buzz with the singles ‘Focus’ and ‘Ori Mi’.
