The Worlds of DC franchise may have had some flickering over the years, but Aquaman is proof that while Justice League the film may have underperformed, people are still interested in the solo adventures of these heroes.

(Or maybe they just like the giant fish monsters and Shakespeare under the water).

The flash The film, based on the character's interpretation by Ezra Miller rather than the Arrowverse version performed by Grant Gustin, was announced a long time ago, but we still do not know what's going on.

At the latest news, Warner Bros went there with a light tone, led by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein – aka the guys behind the excellent Night of game.

But now The Hollywood journalist reports that the actor Ezra Miller tries to write the script to offer a darker interpretation of the character, with Weekly entertainment confirming that Miller co-wrote a screenplay for the film with none other than Grant Morrison.

Morrison is the legendary comic writer behind the New X-Men ran, and he did great work for DC too, especially on All-Star Superman, JLA and various Batman Things.

The report indicates that Miller and Morrison have until May to convince WB to adopt their version, and the success of the script could be a determining factor in determining whether or not Miller will remain in Flash.

The flash The production of the solo film was scheduled to begin in the spring of 2019, but the shooting date was postponed until the end of the year, with Miller to start working on Fantastic Beasts 3, which starts production in July 2019, before that too.

Meanwhile, the upcoming Worlds of DC film to be released will be Shazam! – and in the first reviews of the film, it looks like a good one.

Shazam! will be published on April 5th.
