De Jong and De Ligt would like to play together at Barca

Ajax goaltender Andre Onana, a Barcelona veteran, recommended his team-mate Matthijs de Ligt to follow Frenkie de Jong during his signing for the Catalan giants.

"I hope De Ligt will also go to Barca, they are very good friends and they would like a lot," Onana told Radio Catalunya. "I talked to them about it."

Onana said: "De Jong is very happy to go to Barca.Two months ago, I told him to go to Barca."

On De Ligt, however, Barca should make a big economic effort to sign it, but also to convince him to come when he would be behind Gérard Pique for at least one season.
