MATTHIJS DE LIGT has given hope to Manchester United as it has not reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain.
That's what says his agent, Mino Raiola, who also represents Paul Pogba.
De Ligt, 19, who played a key role in Ajax's impressive run at the Champions League final last season, has drawn the attention of top European clubs, including United, Barcelona and PSG.
The Dutch, valued at £ 60m, could lead to an exodus of players from the Eredivise formation this summer.
SunSport announced earlier this week that PSG had outscored United in the defenseman's signature race.
It was even thought that De Ligt would be tied to the Nou camp before United and Manchester City showed interest.
But Raiola has scrambled the discussions on the move to PSG, calling it "false information."
He said, "This is the clbadic example of the false news.
"The picture of me and the French journalist in Paris? He asked me to take a picture together, but I did not know who this gentleman was.
"I have never spoken with him."
Money no problem
De Ligt is already convinced that the money will not determine which club he will join next.
He said: "Money is not the problem.
"The most important thing is to know in the team where you are going. [that] you will have importance and will play many games.
"I still do not know what my heart says. During my holidays, I will be able to think about it and decide what I will do with my future.
"I do not know when I'm going to know it, but I'm going to take my time."
