Syfy dismissed Deadly clbad and also has sad news for fans of Happy! The cable operator canceled both sets, TVLine learned.

Deadly clbad, which has completed its first season of 10 episodes in March, will be shopping by Sony Pictures Television. Meanwhile, the Chris Meloni-title Happy! finished his second season last week. Universal Content Productions will also visit the show. (Happy! found success on Netflix in its second window run. This is the second best performing drama of the streamer, apart from You, in male demos and teens.)

Based on the series of comic books of the same name, the 1980s Deadly clbad was put in an elite private academy where students are trained to become murderers. Benedict Wong, Benjamin Wadswort, Lana Condor, Maria Gabriela de Faría, Luke Tennie and Liam James are part of the cast.

Happy!, which was also based on a series of comics, launched in December 2017 with good reviews and good ratings. The audience, however, took a nosedive in season 2. It was centered on former detective Nick Sax (played by Meloni).

The TVLine Cable Renewal Scorecard has been updated to reflect cancellations of both series.
