OOne of the world's deadliest illicit drugs has hospitalized its first known British victim, triggering a health alert from the Royal College of Psychiatrists.

Emma Davies, 41, reportedly suffered from "horrific" open sores after taking Krokodil, a homemade hallucinogenic opiate that would be 10 times more potent than heroin and much cheaper.

Davies had not been able to appear in Cheltenham Court for shoplifting last August after having to be treated at the hospital for his injuries, but he appeared yesterday to have a fine of 900 £.
