If you watched * the 4-way match for team titles at NXT TakeOver: XXV Earlier in the evening (June 1st) in Bridgeport, Connecticut, you know that Kyle O'Reilly, of the ERA group, was undisputed.
* If you do not do it, go watch it! You'll squirm and wriggle, but it's one of the best arranged matches I can remember to watch, and it ends well.
At the start of the match, O'Reilly fell to the side of a ladder. He also glanced in the back (which was better than beheading him, which could have happened if he was standing at that moment) when he flew into the air while the two men who held it became superfluous.
Viewers quickly realized that Kyle was bleeding from the back. The film crews and WWE producers did their best not to look well at KOR's injury, but he posted a picture in an Instagram story after the match, and .. OH MY GOD …
It's … it's not good, everyone.
Luckily, Kool Kyle was back in the ring at the end of the night and posing for photos with his faction mates and new NXT champion Adam Cole behind the scenes of the show, so he's fine. It's going to hurt tomorrow, though.
Whatever it is, on behalf of all the fans that your work entertains tonight and every night, thank you.
You are a great d-bag guitarist.
