Day of the Dead remains a popular horror film and Joseph was a regular at conventions celebrating this genre.

It could have been so different because Joseph was studying law at the university but the appeal of the acting game was too great.

He said earlier: "I was more than enthusiastic about representing a lawyer.Unfortunately, to date, I have not played the role of a lawyer."

His last appearance is in Night of the Living Dead: Origins 3D, in which he played Harry Cooper.
