Two men were arrested in connection with the death of a young player from the Bradford rugby league in France.
Harry Sykes, 16, from the Clayton Heights area, was on a tour organized by the Halifax Elite Rugby Academy in September.
His body was found in a lake near the city of Carcbadonne.
A West Yorkshire police spokesman said: "Police have arrested two men in an investigation into the death of Harry Sykes, a Bradford teenager.
"Both have been released under investigation and investigations are continuing.
The Halifax Elite Academy described Harry as a "really kind, honest and committed young man". The teenager played amateur rugby for his local team Queensbury ARLFC
The RFL Benevolent fund said in a statement: "The West Yorkshire police have informed the family of Harry Sykes that she was conducting an official investigation into the circumstances of Harry's death in France in September 2018.
"The RFL Charity Fund continues to support Harry's family, who remain deeply shocked by their tragic loss."
