Del mar's racing season begins in the shadow of Santa Anita's deaths

Following the death of 30 horses at Santa Anita Park earlier this year, the runway safety at Del Mar this summer is a cause for concern. KPBS reporter Matt Hoffman said officials were confident that recent improvements to the track would result in fewer horse deaths.
