Georgia Denny's employees attacked a television photographer on Wednesday after reporter Adam Murphy visited the restaurant to politely ask questions about a failed inspection report.

CBS46 at 11 pm The news bulletin on Friday highlighted the incident, which showed that Murphy was answering his usual questions. An employee quickly became belligerent.
"Do not put the camera in my face!" Said the unidentified employee. "I'll call the police."
She and another unidentified employee physically pushed the camera and forced Murphy and photographer Dimitri Lotovski out of the school.
A third employee then went out with her young son and cursed Murphy and started slapping on camera.
"It's an badault there!" Said Murphy. A male employee started to register the photographer and asked if Mr. Murphy was even allowed to go to the scene.
"If only their kitchen was as hot as their employees, maybe none of that would have happened," Murphy said insolently in the report.
When the DeKalb County police came forward, the agents confirmed that the rapporteurs had the right to question the restaurant about the inspection report.
The news station has not filed any charges of badaulting employees. Instead, they sent the raw video to Denny's head office in Spartanburg, S.C.
Denny's provides the station with this statement:
"We are disappointed with the inappropriate and unacceptable behavior of employees. We spoke to the franchisee here and he immediately took steps to ensure that the restaurant met the rigorous standards of our brand and took the steps that were required of the employees. "
Denny's did not specify if any of the employees had been fired.
In a text message Saturday night, Murphy announced his intention to follow up.
The veteran journalist has written hundreds of "restaurant stories" over the past 17 years.
"We already had a hand in the camera," he said, "but not many punches like that. It was the most violent encounter I have ever had. "
He was particularly concerned about the woman cursing in front of her young son.
"Our approach is always professional," he said.
