Madison Square Garden is the mecca of boxing and on the biggest stage of all, Andy Ruiz Jr. shocked the world to become the new heavyweight champion. Ruiz overthrown Anthony Joshua previously undefeated four times en route to a TKO 7th round win to claim the IBF, WBA and WBO heavyweight belts.

After Joshua's surprise defeat of a fighter, many casual fans had never heard of anything, or knew very little about it, reactions began to pour in on social media. Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder, two of the biggest heavyweights in the world, will not fail to participate themselves in the action.

While noting their disagreements, Fury took the path of respect, wishing Joshua good luck for his recovery.

We have our backs and Forth but @anthonyfjoshua changed his stars through life. heavyweight, these things happen, rest, recover, regroup and come back

However, Wilder was not interested in offering Joshua any respect or goodwill. "He was not a real champion," wrote Wilder on Twitter. "His whole career has been made up of lies, contradictions and donations."

He was not a real champion. His entire career has been composed of lies, contradictions and gifts.
The facts and now we know who was running who !!!!#TilThisDay

Wilder's reaction is hardly surprising considering both his penchant for trashy speech and the harsh words Joshua uttered after Wilder announced his decision to set up a revenge against Luis Ortiz. Joshua says that Fury and Wilder dodged and blamed them for fighting, "taxi drivers and binmen".

It may be true, but at least they are still unbeaten, which Joshua can no longer claim.
